Dad received an e-mail from his cousin (70 year old woman) that she believes his e-mail account has been hacked.
Dad has a Comcast e-mail account and uses Outlook as his desktop mail client.
He Googled "Change outlook password" and then sent me a link he found for an ehow article on changing the password in his outlook account configuration. He asked if those were the correct instructions for changing his e-mail password.
I told him no, that he would have to go to the Comcast website to change his password, then update the password in his Outlook configuration and any other clients that access that account.
I wonder if maybe he's better off living with the hacker than trying to figure out all of that.
